Delete Your Account & Data

App: Gloza (com.gloza.app) · Developer: Gloza

This page explains how to request deletion of your Gloza account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to both customers who book salon appointments and salon businesses that use Gloza to run their operations.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself (customers)

If you can sign in, you can delete your account instantly from the app or website:

  1. Open the Gloza app, or go to gloza.in and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm by typing DELETE when prompted.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, or you have a salon business (vendor) or admin account (which cannot be self-deleted in the app), email us and we will process your request:

Send an email to support@gloza.in

Subject: Delete my account

Send it from your registered email address, or include the phone number on your account, so we can verify your identity.

We verify identity and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile and login (name, email, username, phone, password)
  • Your bookings and appointment history
  • Your favourites and any reviews you posted
  • Your saved sessions, notification and device tokens, and push subscriptions
  • Wallet / pass balances held against your account

What is retained, and why

A limited set of records is kept after your account is deleted, disassociated from your personal identity where possible:

  • Invoices and transaction records for purchases you made. Salons are legally required to keep these in their own business books for tax and accounting purposes, so they are retained by the salon and de-linked from your deleted account.
  • Records we must keep to comply with applicable tax, accounting and legal obligations (in India, financial records are generally retained for up to 8 years), after which they are deleted or anonymised.
  • Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you.
